1. River – the Base and Meridian Wildlife Area - Come see the amazing Gila River – right where the Salt and Gila Rivers meet. Wildlife of all varieties call this place home – the most visible are the birds in abundance. It is remarkably beautiful.

2. Live Wildlife – we can bring birds into the studio or have them meet you on site.

3. Going GREEN - Talk about Living more responsibility in the Xtreme Living area – take a look at the exhibitors. We have exhibits on wildlife, ecology, environment and living in a “GREEN” way! We can arrange to cover any aspect of that with you!

4. Kids Area – There is an AMAZING kid’s area this year – with fun, green crafts – a kid nature trail, community weaving, lots more!

5. Beginners birding - Ever wonder what that bird was or how to tell a hawk from a falcon or what kinds of birds you can expect to see in Phoenix? Well now is your chance –experts will explain all the tools you need to begin bird watching. They will take you on a short hike to start you off, and provide everything! Come learn what all the excitement is about and also receive a free bird book for joining us!

6. FREE Day - in this time of economic shifts – this is a great way for people to come outside and learn about our rivers, environment and community!

7. History – talk to local historians on how and who settled the Southwest valley!

8. Free Fishing Clinic – Bring out the kids for a day in the fun – learn how to fish, etc.

9. Free Canoeing – Again , sponsored by the Arizona Game and Fish Department - bring out the kids for a day in the fun!

10. Take a Hike – We are offering hike around the nature trail, self-guided hikes to Monument Hill and beginning birdwatching hikes
